Tony Takoushi - Production Manager, Torus

Tony Takoushi reveals how graduates often don't provide sufficient information in their job applications...

Tony Takoushi is Head of Production at Torus Games and he started in the UK games industry in 1979.

Tony has worked in virtually all areas of the industry from comment columns and review pages in magazines (CVG/Big K/Personal Computer Games) to books (Best software guides in 1983 reviewing 5,000 games and the Sonic 2 players guide in 1993) and development.

He has written full design documents and produced them in his own studio, TAKS Limited, from 1999 to 2002. He released his first studio title on new silicon in 10 months from concept to final product which is a considerable feat in today's challenging development environment.

With a personal games collection of over 12,000 games Tony has a strong and deep understanding of gameplay as well as broad industry experience that he brings to Torus Games/the Australian games developer scene.
