| Evelyn Richardson explains
how important industry-education collaboration and the
Forum are for the growth of the industry…. |
Evelyn
Richardson has over ten years experience in
the IT and new media industries working in Government
and the private sector. Prior to joining the GDAA, she
provided strategic advice to the film, television and
new media industries. This recently included a review
of Opportunities for Motion Capture for the Victorian
Computer Game Industry and facilitating a cross-industry
networking forum for games and post production companies.
She was formerly General Manager of Grey Interactive
and Director, Industry and Community Development, Multimedia
Victoria. She supported the creation of Cinemedia’s
Digital Media Library and in conjunction with the National
Gallery of Victoria developed their multimedia strategy
to digitise 20 000 images, develop infrastructure for
the Federation Square and St Kilda Road sites, including
upgrade their website.
She has managed successful e-commerce trials in metro
and regional Victoria and was appointed to the IT and
Multimedia Strategy Review Team, in conjunction with
McKinsey/Cutler and Co – producing the final report
to the Victorian Government. |

PRESENTATION

across the game industry and education.

furthering the games industry in Australia, services
it provides, how it views the games industry, and opportunities.
