| Kate Inabinet explains how
she became a 3D artist at Atari… |
Since graduating
from the AIE in 1999, Kate Inabinet
has worked as an animator/designer in several companies,
on projects ranging from television commercials to music
videos and short films.
A Sony Scholarship finalist in 2002, Kate returned
to the AIE the same year to complete advanced studies
before moving to Melbourne in 2003, where she joined
Atari Melbourne house to animate characters for the
'Transformers' PS2 title. Still a member of the Atari
team, Kate is also currently active in the 'Women in
Games Pathway' Mentor Program, making herself available
to advise and encourage female students who wish to
enter the games industry. |

PRESENTATION
Panel presentation – voices from the field. Women
in games -- an important topic for both industry and
