Kate Inabinet - 3D animator, Atari

Kate Inabinet explains how she became a 3D artist at Atari…

Since graduating from the AIE in 1999, Kate Inabinet has worked as an animator/designer in several companies, on projects ranging from television commercials to music videos and short films.

A Sony Scholarship finalist in 2002, Kate returned to the AIE the same year to complete advanced studies before moving to Melbourne in 2003, where she joined Atari Melbourne house to animate characters for the 'Transformers' PS2 title. Still a member of the Atari team, Kate is also currently active in the 'Women in Games Pathway' Mentor Program, making herself available to advise and encourage female students who wish to enter the games industry.
