Who we are and what we do

The Game Developers’ Association of Australia was formed in December 1999 with the specific objective of raising the profile of the Australian game development industry domestically and internationally.

We advocate on behalf of member interactive entertainment development companies, associated industry companies, and interactive entertainment training providers to industry stakeholders including governments, publishers, and industry advisors to promote, grow and attract investment in the Australian games development industry.

Our activities and initiatives are driven by and for our members. The GDAA encourages participation and engagement from members to ensure the association is always aware of industry needs, is able to meaningfully support the sector and can continue to foster the Australian game development community.
